ENMARES Universal Tire Inflation Cage (E-TIC) is another innovative product, which is one of the most critical security equipment in aircraft maintenance processes used to inflate various tire types of different sizes. It is designed to prevent fatal effects of a possible explosion while inflating the tire by protecting personnel against accidental impacts caused by free travelling fragments and wheel particles. Product design has been carried out with the coordination of blast dynamics engineer of ENMARES and our cage conforms to OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations (OSHA Standard Number of 1910.177). It is manufactured upon a set of failure simulations performed in computer media. Although this equipment has been designed mainly for aviation purposes, it can be employed in such other industries as automotive as well. Our equipment has a special sheet metal structure so that it can attenuate shock waves caused by burst and it is equipped with a “Pressure Shut-off Valve” to limit the maximum pressure that can be delivered to the tire. It has a vision port for observation inside of the cage during inflation and accommodates tire sizes up to 54 inches.

This product can be customized upon customer’s request for adaptation to different wheel sizes.
